Starting at Starbucks in Milpitas, Darold Cooper (BMW R1150RS), Rich Mample (VFR), Jeff Smith, Interceptor 800, Tom Soboleski (F4), Steve Cagan (ST1300), Manny and Daryle Talavera (F3), Leonard Lloyd (Bandit) rode east on Calaveras Blvd into the hills and around the reservoir.

Vallecitos Road has suffered surgery that removed the motorcycle friendly curves, climbs and descents in trade for a long passing lane. We took it to Wetmore Road to ride through south Livermore wine country, passing Concannon and Wente wineries in addition to many relatively new smaller ones.. Arriving on Tesla Road, we take Cross Road up and over to Patterson Pass Road, where we pause to regroup.

Patterson Pass Road runs directly through the wind power farms, very much in operation this day.

When we reached I-5, we headed south 5 miles to Corral Hollow Road westbound to Carnegie SRV park for a rest stop...  At the county line, Tesla Road heads west, up a fun staircase of switchbacks toward Livermore and lunch.
